I fell backward, hitting my bed, letting the blankets and pillows lay rumpled beneath me. My eyes were closed, but all I could see was his face, and that was not what I needed right now. I rolled over and grabbed the remote, turning the TV on, and choosing a random channel. It was a random Disney show; that worked.
